Our Team
Millwood Asset Management invests and manages real estate on behalf of third parties. Our ambition is to build a significant portfolio in the Dutch market over the coming years, following a strategy focused on collaboration.
Millwood was founded by Henk Besem and Pim Pastor.
Henk brings over 40 years of experience in banking, having worked at ABN AMRO, Chase, Van Lanschot, and most recently as Head of Risk at ING Real Estate. At ING, Henk was ultimately responsible for assessing the quality of a global real estate portfolio valued at over €50 billion. Additionally, Henk has served as an advisor to several major Dutch family offices.
Pim has around 10 years of experience in real estate investment. He began his career at VSN Nederland and then moved to London, where he was involved with Mount Street in acquiring and managing large European real estate projects. In the Netherlands, he has worked for Hines LLP, a global real estate investor with one of the largest portfolios in the world, and was responsible for acquisitions.
